1. Why are the enclosures made of ABS?

Because ABS is a very solid and UV resistant material. Thank to that our enclosures are able to work outdoors.

IPXY is an Ingress Protection Rating, which defines protection levels of certain product. X from 0-6 defines security level from penetration of solids. Y from 0-9 defines security level from water.

3. What kind of mounting is it?

It is made of a special fiberglass reinforced plastic, which is rigid even in extremely weather conditions. It can be regulated by 60 degrees in two planes.

Aesthetic design predisposes them to be installed even in visible places like public/administration buildings. The system is predicted to be used outdoor, the IP67 waterproof level is achieved by special sealing system, what makes it resistant for any weather conditions. QuBOX Large has flat top which is used to mount additional devices like omnidirectional antennas in it, there is also 5 additional holes to install up to 5 another antennas on the bottom.
